HK-G is a 3,900 kilometer undersea cable connecting Tseung Kwan O (TKO), Hong Kong and Piti, Guam, with design capacity of more than 48 Tbps.
HK-G cable system lands in the same facility as the Southeast Asia – United States Cable System (SEA-US), Piti cable landing station operated by Teleguam Holdings LLC.
HK-G is a private cable invested by RTI Connectivity (RTI-C) and built by NEC. Furthermore, HK-G cable system utilizes capital from the Fund Corporation for the Overseas Development of Japan’s ICT and Postal Services Inc. (Japan ICT Fund), along with syndicated loans from Japanese institutions including NEC Capital Solutions Limited, etc.
