Makaha Cable Landing Station locates at Makaha Beach along the Waianae cost of the Island of Oahu. The landing point lies within the Makaha Beach Park. The first trans-Pacific cable was landed at Makaha Beach in 1964. The Makaha CLS is now the cable landing station for Japan-US CN and other interisland cables and retired trans-pacific cables.
