Equinix MI3 Data Center is the cable landing station for the Monet cable system. Equinix's MI3 Data Center also serves as a carrier-neutral network access point for GlobeNet cable system, forms a low latency, subsea cable route to Equinix's SP2 in São Paulo, Brazil.
Monet consortium comprises Algar Telecom (a Brazilian telecom company and ISP), Angola Cables (an Angolan telecom company operating in the wholesale market), Antel (the Uruguayan telecom company) and Google. Google is the U.S. landing party for Monet. Google selects Equinix's MI3 data center to house Monet cable system.
Besides Equinix MI3 Data Center, there are another three cable landing stations in Boca Raton:
