Available Backhaul Providers:
- TPC-1 (Trans Pacific Cable 1), the first submarine coaxial cable to link Japan and Guam and continue into mainland U.S.A. via Hawaii. It opened on June 19, 1964. Using a coaxial submarine cable, it had a small capacity of only 128 telephone lines and handled communications between Japan and the U.S.A for 26 years until 1990.
- JIH (Japan Information Highway), a 10000km submarine cable landed at Okinawa, Miyazaki, Kochi, Shima, Toyohashi, Ninomiya, Chikura, Ibaraki, Sendai, Ishikari, Akita, Niigata, Naoetsu, Matsutou, Kumihama, Hamada, Fukuoka and Miyazaki, with design capacity of STM-16.
