Nanhui Cable Landing Station (Nanhui CLS) locates in Luchao Harbor, Nanhui County, Shanghai, China. Nanhui CLS is the first international submarine cable landing station in China, which was built for the China-Japan submarine coaxial cable system in 1976, and the first China-Japan submarine optical fiber cable system (C-J cable system) landed at Nanhui Cable Landing Station in 1993. Nanhui CLS is owned and operated by China Unicom (formerly China Netcom).
