The east and south coast of Taiwan island is of significant importance for the submarine networks, and is also a high-risk region for the submarine networks due to the characteristics of the geology of Taiwan.

Tanshui Cable Landing Station

Tanshui Cable Landing Station locates at Tanshui town, Taipei City, Taiwan. There are two cable landing stations in Tanshui, one owned by Chunghwa Telecom, the terminal station for the APCN-2 and TPE cable systems, the other owned by NCIC, the terminal station for the C2C cable network. And the undergoing TSE-1 cable is going to land at the NCIC Tanshui Cable Landing Station.
